OUR HISTORY

           The AFP Educational Benefit System Office (AFPEBSO) was activated on 01 August 2000 with the general function to assist the Chief of Staff, AFP in enhancing the morale and welfare of the military personnel by providing educational benefit programs for their dependents. It is established to conduct research and operations, promulgate and implement policies, and promote awareness on the educational benefits that could be availed by qualified dependents. AFPEBSO’s funds for the education of the grantees come mainly from the 30% of the PNP Firearms and Licensing Fee indicated in the R.A. 6963, Experience Refund of MBAI SGTI for CAA, and donations from various organizations.

"To provide responsive educational benefit and assistance program by judicially managing and harnessing resources in order to enhance the morale and welfare of military personnel and their dependents, thereby bridging the educational opportunity gaps.”
